Between 4th and 3rd century BCE, Celtic warriors adopted a metallic chain as suspension belt for their swords. Towards the half of the 3rd century BCE, Celts turned back to a suspension system based on simpler leather belts and metallic rings (something that had already been seen in the ancient La Tène period).
Wearable from 80 to 110 cm of waist circumference.
