Spatha type Feltwell (battle ready)

Reproduction of the oldest Germanic spatha so far found in the United Kingdom. The original, probably of Saxon origin, was found in the hypocaust of a Roman villa near Feltwell, Norfolk. Probably arrived in Britain with the first Angles to settle there The handle was rebuilt based on the findings from Samsun in the Netherlands. This product has been developed in collaboration with the Roman Army Talk online forum.
