Handcrafted Roman cingulum, 1st century AD
Based on the military belt on the stelae of Cnaeus Musius.

Composite leather belt, made of leather and linen (“sewn” option).

Material: brass, the ancient orichalcum. As the finds show, it was the most commonly used alloy by the Romans to pay soldiers and for military-related items (e.g., scabbard parts and belts).
