Helmet type Berkasovo I

The reference specimen on which this reproduction is based, it is kept in the Novi Sad museum, Serbia. The name derives from the town of Berkasovo (Serbia), where two specimens cataloged by Robinson as Berkasovo I and II were found. The first model, presented here, is formed by an iron cap formed by four plates joined together with rivets and pierced crest, covered with gold, gilded silver and with gems in glass paste, onyx and chalcedony, set on all parts of the helmet.
