Blade made of high quality forged and tempered steel with a hardness of about 48 Rockwell. Knob and guard, in brass foil and bovine horn fixed with rivets, handle in wood, brass and horn. Wooden sheath covered in leather with brass finishes. Migration age (6th-7th century). Sword type 4 according to the Oakeshott / Behmer classification. EN45 steel blade, tempered. Blade hardness approx. 48 HRC
